The questions everyone asks.
Straight answers on how Pal works, what it can and cannot do, and what you are actually buying. Still wondering something? Ask us.
The basics
What is Pal?+
A managed AI teammate for your business. It is a named agent that lives in the tools your team already uses, learns how your business runs, and gets the work done. We set it up, run it, and keep it improving.
What does "managed" actually mean?+
It means the work of making AI useful is ours, not yours. We handle the integrations, the hosting, the monitoring, the tuning and the new skills. You manage your business. We manage the AI.
Is this just a chatbot?+
No. A chatbot waits for you to prompt it and hands back text. Pal does the task: it reads the message, pulls the context, drafts the action and prepares it for your approval, inside your real systems.
How is it different from buying an AI tool?+
A tool is a login and a blank box, and making it useful becomes your weekly job. Pal is a service. The capability arrives tuned to your business, and stays tuned, because keeping it sharp is what you are paying us for.
Getting started
How long until it is working?+
Weeks, not quarters. Week one is discovery and access. By weeks two and three the agent is live on its first job, shadowed and reviewed until the judgement is right.
What makes a good first job?+
Something high volume, repetitive, and currently slipping because the team is stretched. The shared inbox, chasing, compliance dates, follow-ups. We help you pick the one that pays back fastest.
Do I need technical people?+
No. There is nothing to install and no prompts to engineer. We do the integration and the setup. Your team carries on using the tools they already use.
Trust & control
Can it act on its own?+
Only within the boundaries you set. Anything reversible and routine it can handle. Anything irreversible, like sending, paying or changing a record, waits for a human to approve.
What happens when it gets something wrong?+
The approval gate is there for exactly this. Risky actions are prepared, not performed, so a mistake is caught at review, not after the fact. And every action leaves an audit trail you can inspect.
Where do approvals happen?+
In the channel your team already uses. A card lands in Slack, Teams or wherever you work, you glance at it, and a tap sends it or sends it back.
Security & data
Is my data used to train AI models?+
No. Your business data is used to do your work, not to train shared models. It is yours, and it stays that way.
What can it access?+
Only what its job needs. We connect with scoped, least-privilege access, hold credentials encrypted, and rotate them. The agent never has keys it does not use.
Can we see what it did?+
Always. Source, draft, decision, who approved it and the outcome are recorded for every meaningful action. Nothing happens in a black box.
Pricing & commitment
How much is it?+
From ยฃ750 per month per agent, for the managed service. Model usage is passed through at cost. The price reflects the setup, running, monitoring and weekly improvement, not the software.
Is there a long contract?+
No lock-in. We have to be useful every month to keep your business. Most clients start with a pilot and widen the remit once the first job pays for itself.
